Missy Francis Photography » Souteast Michigan Wedding Photographer, Southeast Michigan Senior Photographer, Lapeer County Michigan Portrait Photographer, Newborns, Maternity, Children, Families, Seniors, and Weddings

Baby Isla has grown so much since her newborn portraits last May! She is holding her head up now and I’m sure by the time her six month session comes along she will be sitting up on her own like a pro!

We had a very nice September, Saturday morning for our session. I was joined by Nacole Goodman-Lee of Nacole Francine Photography–an up and comer portrait photographer who wanted to tag along for the session. I was grateful for the assist, and I hope we get to work together again some time.  I love meeting other photographers–they are the best kinds of people. I was grateful for the mentoring Shannon Trempler Schwabe of Clicking Through Life shared with me when I was just starting out and I am happy to give back to others.

But enough about photographers, right? Bring on the baby pictures!

I love the little toe curl in this shot!^

I will be shooting yearbook photo mini sessions at Art of Life in downtown Ortonville on Saturday, October 19, 2013 and Saturday, October 26, 2013. The sessions are 20 minutes, and the cost is $40.00. If you have an outdoor session with me, the yearbook image is included at no additional charge! But you must call to 248-627-4901 to book your session.

All sessions include premium re-touching.

You will have three finished images to choose from, and I will submit the final image to your school for you.

When I first met Eliza she was a kind and super smart eighth grade student. I couldn’t believe it when her mom, Noreen, asked me to photograph her senior portraits. No way has it been four years already! Really?
All I have to say about that is: time flies when you’re having fun! Now Eliza is a poised and confident high school senior… and I guess beautiful could go without saying. 😀 She really had her heart set on some big city portraits. So I suggested that we meet up on the roof of the Fox Garage for sunset photos. Detroit really is a beautiful city. Of course, we somehow chose a night when both the Tigers and the Lions were playing–ha! follow sports much? No matter, we still got a few in front of Comerica Park and up Brush Street. Not to mention the beautiful Fox Theatre and St. John Church. All in all, it was a beautiful night, and so nice to meet up with old friends again. We were even blessed with a gorgeous sunset after we had given up! So without further adieu I bring you the beautiful Eliza…
